Glass Art

All of our glass before we fired the kiln. My aunt got me awesome orange glass so I could make something "UTish" Go vols!

Being slightly OCD helped me make this plate. The colored part is teeny tiny crushed glass pieces called frit.

I love learning to do new things-especially when it involves art projects. During my trip to WA/OR, I got to use my aunt's kiln to fire some glass art projects. We made a trip to a fun glass store in downtown Portland and picked out some fun stuff to work with. So this time instead of doing the blown glass I did fused glass. VERY fun and addictive. I really want my own kiln now!!!
