My Very First

Well, apparently blogging is the new thing so I figured I would give it a shot. Not to mention Meagan, who stays up to date on the latest everything, swears by it. I don't know yet what this blog will be, what I will write about, who will actually read it (besides Meagan) etc. but I have a lot going on in my life and I think this could be a great way to share parts of that with others.

So for my first post I am going to talk about my obsession with all things crafty. I do not believe that I have a great deal of artistic talent, though I will try my best at anything crafty you throw my way. I love to learn new things and my latest obsession (the past 2 years) has been my sewing machine. Maybe I will post some pictures of things I have created/embroidered as I go! I have found that it is my relaxation and my sanity and without my creative outlets I would have lost my mind a long time ago. But I do think I'm a craft-a-holic and it is going to make me go broke someday! Until then, I'm off to sew!
